What is this role about?

This position plays a key role in supporting and delivering processes and analytics, including evaluation, compensation and benefits. You will be helming two portfolios, with priority focus on Compensation and Benefits.

  • Deepen expertise in rewards management, with emphasis on compensation & benefits
  • Have the opportunity to work with senior stakeholders (internal and external)

Candidate Qualities

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a degree in Business, Human Resource Management, or equivalent
  • Is experienced in Compensation & Benefits, including payroll management
  • Has hands-on experience with or interest in using Hay/Korn Ferry and Mercer methodology for job evaluation and salary benchmarking
  • Has proven experience in leading the review and development of Compensation & Benefits policies and practices
  • Has experience managing a HRIS system
  • Is proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Is analytical, meticulous, and organised
  • Has strong verbal and written communication skills, and problem-solving skills
  • Has good knowledge of Singapore employment legislation and market HR practices
  • Upholds high integrity and professionalism in dealing with confidential information
  • Candidates experienced with using data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI will have an advantage

  • Manage and maintain monthly payroll processing and reporting
  • Provide actionable insights and data-driven decisions on Talent matters

Descriptions of the Job Role

  • Compensation and Benefits Management
    • Review, implement and align compensation & benefits policies to attract, motivate and retain workforce based on appropriate industry benchmarks
    • Perform accurate and timely processing of monthly payroll, including submissions to bank, NS portal, CPF, IRAS, etc
    • Produce monthly and ad-hoc payroll related reports
    • Manage payroll audit matters as the primary point of contact
    • Assist in manpower budgeting and performance appraisal exercises, including annual increment, bonus and promotion cycles
    • Provide advice and guidance related to compensation & benefits policies and procedures
    • Conduct job evaluations, salary benchmarking and benefit review exercises, and provide analysis to support recommendations on compensation structure
  • HR Data and Analytics Management
    • Be the Business Partner to senior stakeholders for ad-hoc HR data requests
    • Produce and deliver standard and customized HR insights reports for Business Units
    • Make recommendations derived from data analytics and HR metrics benchmarking using dashboards or data visualisation tools
    • Implement employee engagement surveys and analyse results
    • Ensure overall HR data integrity with accurate and consistent data collection, entry and cleaning before analysis or reporting. Support data governance processes
