MANAGEMENT SUPPORT OFFICER (STAKEHOLDING)

The Singapore Academy of Law (SAL) is a promotion and development agency for Singapore’s legal industry. Our vision is to make Singapore the legal hub of Asia.

SAL provides stakeholding services for sale and purchase transactions of newly developed private residential properties, commercial properties and executive condominiums under certain statutory schemes. SAL acts as a stakeholder in place of the purchasers' solicitors for the last installment payments. This involves a direct deposit service for purchasers of the applicable properties to conveniently pay in their stakeholding monies through banking outlets near their homes or solicitors’ offices.

About the Role

Stakeholding is looking for a responsible and committed Management Support Officer (MSO) to support the day-to-day operations by working closely with the team to process, ensure accuracy and completeness of all form submissions relating to the sales and purchase of the properties.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Accurately record, update and maintain all form submissions
  • Maintain and ensure proper e-documentation and e-filing system
  • Provide administrative support to the team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Follow-up and liaise with external party on relevant matters
  • Prepare simple accounting entries and bank reconciliations for Stakeholding fund movements
  • Perform frontline operations as and when required including answer incoming calls, dealing with e-mail enquiries, and releasing of cheques over the counter
  • Ensure timely completeness and accuracy in assigned tasks
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by Manager
  • Participate and keep abreast of automation that can improve productivity as well as enhance operational reliability and quality

Requirements:

  • Organised and meticulous, with the ability to multi-task to meet deadlines
  • Able to work as a team and independently with various internal and external parties in a fast-paced environment, self-driven and a team player
  • Computer literacy (must be familiar with MS Office applications, especially MS Word, Excel), with an interest in technology and participating in digital transformation initiatives
  • Customer Oriented
