Q: Tito, what’s been the heart of the firm since the beginning?

Q: Succession can be tricky. How did you approach it?
Tito: “Succession planning is about trust just as much as it is about structure.”
He made a deliberate choice to transition leadership to Yi Mei and Kawal—two long-time leaders in the firm—through a structured, transparent process. The firm adopted a shared leadership model to balance workloads and foster individual growth.
Q: Yi Mei, what does legacy mean to you?
Chong Yi Mei: “Legacy is a gift—but also a weight.”
Having a strong foundation is a blessing, but it comes with challenges. “We’re not trying to fill Tito’s shoes—we’re charting our own path while honouring his.” For her, evolution begins with open conversations, small steps, and a culture where ideas and experience flow both ways.
Q: Kawal, how do you view your role in this transition?
Kawal Pal Singh: “Leadership is stewardship—not ownership.”
