CLOSING BELL: THE PAN EL SAGA REVISITED

More than 100 SAL members turned up for the return of Legal Chronicles, an annual talk organised by the SAL Legal Heritage Advisory Committee to boost public interest in our shared legal heritage. This year's edition centred on the Pan El saga and featured an eminent panel comprising Mr Lim Hua Min, Executive Chairman, PhillipCapital; Mr Tan Boon Gin, CEO, SGX RegCo; and Mr Conrad Raj, Former editor-at-large, TODAY, former journalist, The Business Times. Their discussion was moderated by Invest Editor of The Straits Times, Mr Tan Ooi Boon. Justice Vincent Hoong, chair of the SAL Legal Heritage Advisory Committee, and Mr Rama Tiwari, SAL Chief Executive, presented speakers with tokens of appreciation.
