Youth Justice in Singapore – Rehabilitation, Reintegration, Restoration

The concept of rehabilitation, reintegration and restoration is integral to the Singapore youth justice system. The recent changes to the Children and Young Persons Act reinforce this by strengthening Government and community support and enhancing rehabilitation measures for youth offenders in Singapore. Our distinguished speakers will:

a. Share on how the Probation and Community Rehabilitation Service (PCRS) facilitates pathways to desistance through effective community rehabilitation. The presentation will also provide insights to PCRS’ client profiles and evidence-based practices

b. Give an overview of the court processes, key court cases and sentencing options that support rehabilitation and reintegration of the youth offenders into society.
