Getting LIFTED
Accreditation for my courses
If you are a provider of training courses in the legal industry, you can align your skills-based training with LIFTED and be accredited as LIFTED training course.

For a course to be LIFTED accredited, it needs to be a training event that is at least 3 hours long and meets the following criteria:

Skills-based | LIFTED – Skills Framework for Legal Services | 100% mapped to the LIFTED TSC Knowledge and Abilities for the targeted Proficiency Level |
Knowledge-based | LIFTED – Knowledge Guides | Align with at least 3 topics listed in Knowledge Guide for the specified area and targeted proficiency level |

Use these as references as you design your courses.
Assess Course Objectives
Determine the appropriate competencies and knowledge guides and the respective proficiency level that your course objectives are aligned to.
Submit your course for accreditation
Email [email protected] with the following details:
- Course title and details (date, time, duration, venue)
- Trainers' names and details
- Lesson plan including learning objectives
- The LIFTED competency and proficiency level that course is aligned to
SAL’s Evaluation
SAL will evaluate your application for accreditation and respond via email on the accreditation outcome within 1 working week of submission.
LIFTED Accreditation
If your application is successful, SAL will provide you with a LIFTED accreditation mark which you can put on your publicity materials for the course.
