Academy Publishing: Shaping the Future of Legal Publishing in 2025
Academy Publishing (AP) is leading the charge in transforming legal publishing, with an exciting new direction for 2025. Now 368 strong, the AP community of authors and contributors from both practice and academia is determined to drive innovation—not just maintain the status quo.
At a recent event, Deputy Attorney-General Mr Goh Yihan SC,
co-chair of SAL’s Publications Committee, revealed the bold new focus for AP. “We want to be proactive in shaping the future of legal publishing. There are two critical areas where we see an opportunity to make a tangible impact—community law and corporate law. Technology is also central to our ongoing evolution. We have seen how digital platforms can reach a broader audience. These platforms will evolve beyond archives of legal knowledge into active hubs for knowledge-sharing and continuous learning.”
