Joseph Grimberg Oustanding Young Advocate Award
This award is named in honour of one of Singapore’s foremost advocates, the late Mr Joseph Grimberg (1933 — 2017), a highly-regarded former Judicial Commissioner and Senior Counsel. Established in 2018, The Joseph Grimberg Outstanding Young Advocate Award honours exceptional young lawyers who demonstrate professional excellence and dedicated service to the legal profession, the Bar, and the community. It also gives credit to those who advance legal ethics and professional responsibility.
Criteria
A candidate
should have less than 10 years PQE with a principal focus on advocacy.
must be a well-rounded person actively involved in his or her community.
must be 40 years of age or below at the time of application.
must be member in good standing of the Singapore Academy of Law.
can be self-nominated, or nominated by a law firm in Singapore or the Singapore Legal Service.
